New build contemporary Oxfordshire home

Neo had a brief from the developer to provide a high tech, yet simple to use automated home. With this brief in mind, the Neo Design team decided on using the Crestron system for the main AV/HVAC control, with the added benfit of Lutron Homeworks for lighting control.

Home Cinema

Below is the basement cinema/music room. Here the client can have with either stereo sound from Sonace inceiling speakers, controlled via Crestron's TPS6L in wall touch panel. Or have the full cinema experience, with a 110 inch Screen Research electric screen with Runco's full 1080p RS900 projector balanced with a full 7.1 surround sound speaker package from Artcoustic.

Family Room / Great Room

This room has 5.1 surround sound, linked via the main AV rack (see below). The client has the ability to control all inputs to the system via the Crestron TPMC8X wireless remote control.From this touch panel the client can also select anyone of the IPODS/IPHONE's loctated around the house. The wireless panel controls the heating, main drive gate access and lighting.

Kitchen

Here is located the Master Control panel for the house (Crestron TPS17L). From here the client can use the 17" colour touch panel to watch either sky box as a normal TV. The touchpanel can also control lighting and heating for the whole house.

The main AV equipment rack includes the following

3x Sherbourn power amplifiers, for stereo sound around the house.

5x Artcoustic power amplifiers, for 7.1 surround sound to cinema.

1x Denon AVR reciever for family room surround sound.

1x Crestron DAP digital audio processor for surround sound.
